Gauteng Futsal has been introduced with the intention of providing an Elite training experience for all players at an affordable cost.

We operate as an association within the South African Futsal Federation, to provide a wide range of opportunities for our players.

Our accredited coaches and officials will ensure we approach coaching with the sole purpose of improving the standard of the players in South Africa.

At our facilities we’ll provide a safe, physical and fun environment for Futsal; to allow our players freedom to develop their long-term athletic skills needed as a foundation to be a great Futsal player.

We provide a structure to teach new skills with the use of deliberate play.

Our syllabus provides lots of opportunities for the players to be creative in a realistic Futsal environment.

  • In our Preliminary Technical Sessions we work in a structured way towards a set syllabus that is developed with latest coaching attributes. Such as : Base Moves, Freestyle, Passing, 1 v 1 Moves, Turning, Shooting and Dribbling.
  • These preliminary sessions are for the once a week training or introductory stage.
  • Players will progress to the Elite sessions from here on successful completion of this syllabus.
  • These sessions also have a non-mandatory game every week.

  • Elite sessions are made up of more advanced players who have progressed through the Preliminary Sessions of our syllabus, or who have been invited into the Elite Sessions program.
  • These sessions have a minimum, compulsory attendance of twice a week attendance.
  • Players from this syllabus will be invited to attend trials for their Province as well as South Africa for their various age groups.
  • These sessions also have a mandatory game once a week.
  • We have a responsibility to observe, assess and recruit future Futsal players for our Gauteng and South Africa teams, for age groups starting at C13 to C20 and opens, for men and woman.
  • The top players from each region then progress to The Provincial Futsal Trials which takes place every year.
  • The Provincial Futsal Trials not only decides which province will be crowned the South African Futsal champions, but also which players will qualify for the ultimate accolade of representing South Africa in the various worldwide tournaments or Futsal events.
